Important Koh Samui Travel Information

We are ready to welcome quarantine-free travel under the following:

International travel with first seven nights in Koh Samui:

  • You can arrive from any country
  • Children under 18 years have to present a negative result for COVID-19 within 72 hours before travel
  • If you are fully vaccinated, you are required to present a valid Vaccine Certificate. The vaccine must be approved by the WHO or Ministry of Health of Thailand and you need to show a negative RT-PCR result taken within 72 hours before travel. It is mandatory to do the following,
    • Day 0-7: Stay at a SHA PLUS certified property and take a RT-PCR test on Day 0-1 and Day 6-7
    • Day 8: You can travel anywhere in Thailand
  • Travellers who have not been vaccinated, do not have a vaccine certificate, or have been partially vaccinated, should do the following,
    • Day 0-7: Rest at a SHA PLUS hotel and undergo a RT-PCR test on Day 0-1 and Day 8-9
    • Day 11: Travel to other parts of Thailand

Domestic travel

  • All travellers are not required to quarantine, provided that:
    • You have received two doses of an approved vaccine or one dose of Johnson & Johnson at least 14 days before arrival. Please also present a Vaccine Certificate
    • Kids under 18 years should have received 1 dose of Pfizer at least 14 days prior to arrival. Children 7-12 years must show a negative COVID-19 test by RT-PCR or Antigen Test taken no more than 7 days from arriving in the approved area. Kids under 6 years do not need to provide a negative COVID-19 test result
    • Present a negative RT-PCR or Antigen Test result issued within 7 days
    • Scan the QR code for the Samui Health Pass at Don Sak Pier / Surat Thani Airport upon arrival and departure. You should also download the MorChana mobile application
