Rooms and Rates

What types of rooms are available in the hotel and what are the differences between the different categories?
The hotel has five categories of room, deluxe, grand deluxe, corner suites, the executive rooms and executive suites.

Deluxe rooms are located on the 10th to 18th floors. Grand Deluxe rooms are located on the 19th to 30th floors and Executive Rooms are located on the 31st to 34th floors. All our rooms are equipped with wireless broadband internet access, tea and coffee-making facilities and comfortable beds with duvets.

Rooms on the Executive floors and Suites have a private reception area, 24-hour butler service, complimentary breakfast, tea, coffee and juices served throughout the day, plus early evening cocktails and canapés. In addition, a boardroom is available for small meetings and free wireless broadband internet access is complimentary throughout in the Executive Lounge.

Are your hotel rates per room or per person?
The rates charged are per room although the cost may differ slightly for single, double and triple occupancy.

Does my room reservation require any guarantee?
All room reservations require a credit card guarantee.

How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
To cancel your booking without incurring any charge, please contact the Reservations Department at least one day prior to your arrival. You will then be given a cancellation number. Please note that you must be booked on a ’Flexible’ rate type as ’Advance Pre-Paid’ rates are non-refundable.

How many people can stay in one room?
Each guest room can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed.

Do you offer discounts for a group booking?

  We regret that animals are not allowed to stay in the guest rooms.

Does the internet rate include breakfast?

What are the standard check in and check out times of the hotel?
The standard check-in time is 14:00 and check out is at 12:00 noon. However, if you are arriving earlier then we make every effort to ensure that a room is available for you.

Is it possible to check-in earlier?
  It is sometimes possible to check in earlier, however, this depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed. However, to be sure of having the room ready upon arrival, you can reserve the room from the night before.

Can I have a late check-out?
   It is possible to have a late check out. Please note that, for check out after 18:00, an additional room night will be charged at the regular room rate.

Do you offer a room rate for short stays (day use)?
Day use of the rooms is available.

Do you have twin, triple and quadruple rooms?
We do have twin rooms. For triple rooms, an extra bed may be added. However, no quadruple rooms are available.

Yes, they are.

Do you have rooms with a bathtub?
Yes, we do. All guest rooms have a bathtub and a separate cubicle shower.

A breakfast buffet is served in the Promenade Restaurant on the 4th floor between 6:00am and 10:30am.

We have 5 main restaurants in the hotel:


Cascade: Stylish Bistro Café; relax in the contemporary bistro or watch the world go by on the fresco terrace while smooth beasts set the mood.

Capacity: 162 people (Inside 106 seat and outdoor 56 seat)

Cuisine: Serving a range of international tapas and refreshing beverages, this is an ideal meeting spot to enjoy a quick breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea or an evening snack.

Promenade: a spacious restaurant with extensive buffets and a show kitchen where guests can order food to be cooked to their liking.

Capacity: 250 people

Cuisine: International cuisine, breakfast and lunch buffet on weekdays and a la carte menu. Open 24 hours a day.

Heichinrou: Well known in Tokyo, Yokohama and Hong Kong. Heichinrou is famous for serving Cantonese food at its best. It has 6 private rooms for a private gathering.

Capacity: 210 people

Cuisine: Traditional Cantonese cuisine including Dim Sum lunch and an extensive a la carte menu.

Thai on 4: Experience authentic Thai cuisine in a restaurant with striking modern decor.

Capacity: 90 people

Cuisine: The menu includes a range of traditional.

  It takes approximately 30 minutes to get from the airport to the hotel, by highway, depending on the time of day. The cost ranges from Bht 350 for a public taxi to the airport and Bht 2,354 net for a hotel limousine (BMW 5 series).

If I take a hotel limousine from the airport, will I be met by a member of Amari staff?
We have staff on duty at the hotel to meet all our arriving guests and to escort you to the limousine. The representative wears a red jacket and carries an Amari sign. Please note that we are able to accommodate for a maximum of three guests in our limousine.

The tap water in Thailand is not potable. Complimentary drinking water is provided in all guest rooms.

What is the weather like at different times of the year?
As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The “hot season” is from April and May, when temperatures reach their highest. The “rainy season” is between June and September although it does not rain every day and usually the rain only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.

What should I wear in Thailand?
The dress code in Thailand is quite modest and so conservative dress is recommended. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a temple.

Are there any golf courses near the hotel?
Nearest one is The Royal Dusit Golf Course on Pitsanuloke Rd., which is 45 minutes from the hotel. We can arrange a golf tour for you including tee-off time, caddy and equipment plus transportation to the golf course. Please contact the Concierge for details at the Ext no.62.

We have Bangkok Post, The Nation, International Herald Tribute, The Asian Wall Street Journal and the Japanese Yumiuri Newspaper. Guests staying in Deluxe rooms can request one of the mentioned newspapers without any charges. For guest staying in Grand deluxe and suite rooms, we offer a daily free delivery of one newspaper automatically
