Where is the resort located?
The Amari Trang Beach Resort is located in Trang Province in the south of Thailand, approximately 315 kilometres from Phuket, 130 km from Krabi and 100 kilometres from Had Yai. The property is on Changlang Beach, approximately 42 kilometres from Trang Town and 45 kilometres from the airport. Framed by whispering casuarina trees and a back drop of tropical islands, it is a sun worshipper’s paradise.

What types of rooms are available in the resort?
The resort has 138 sea-facing rooms including superior rooms, deluxe rooms and suites. The superior rooms are 45 m² including a sea-facing terrace with a ceiling fan, couch and table and chairs. The large bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a sliding glass panel and all rooms have a separate shower and bathtub.

What restaurants are at the resort?
The resort has a choice of dining options serving both international and Thai cuisine. Guests can choose the Vistas Restaurant, which has several theme nights every week or The Beach House, which is a relaxed place to enjoy sundowners. Modern Italian cuisine is served in a relaxing ambience at Acqua Restaurant.
Room service operates daily from 06:00 hrs until 23:00 hrs for private dining in your room.

Do you have meeting rooms?
There are 3 function rooms at the Amari Trang Beach Resort, which can accommodate up to 200 guests for meetings, conferences or banquets. The hotel can also arrange a variety of theme evenings to suit groups of any size.

What facilities are available at the resort?
The resort’s recreation facilities include a swimming pool, children’s pool and a fitness centre. Guests can also pamper themselves at the Sivara Spa, which offers a full range of massage, body and facial treatments.

The resort’s activity centre can advise on sightseeing options for exploring the nearby beaches and islands. Plus, exploring the local town and a selection of beautiful caves and waterfalls also make interesting trips.

How can I get to the resort from Bangkok?
Thai International operates daily flights from Bangkok to Trang and the Amari Trang Beach Resort is approximately 45 kilometres from the airport. Alternatively, you can fly to Krabi and drive approximately an hour and fifteen minutes to the resort.

What is there to see and do in Trang?
Trang is remote and offers guests unspoilt natural beauty. Offshore, dozens of almost deserted islands with white sand beaches and turquoise waters are just waiting to be explored. Inland, rugged limestone cliffs with dramatic waterfalls and caves, virgin rainforests and vast rubber plantations invite visitors. Much of the area is protected national parks.

Can you recommend any good diving schools in Thailand?
Amari Trang Beach Resort can arrange scuba diving courses, diving day trips and live-aboard diving with a local dive operator, for guests to explore Trang’s top diving destinations. Brochures are available at the Guest Activity Department.
In addition, we have also diving centres, which operate at the Amari Palm Reef Resort in Samui and the Amari Coral Beach Resort in Phuket and the Amari Emerald Cove Resort in Koh Chang. There are, of course, many companies offering this service throughout Thailand.
