APARTMENTS AND RATES
What accommodation types are available and how do they vary?
Our different apartment categories comprise 92 Studio Deluxe, 18 Studio with Balcony, 19 One-Bedroom Deluxe, 7 One-Bedroom Premier with Balcony, and 8 Two-Bedroom Premier with Balcony. All are equipped with the modern amenities you would expect from a high class serviced apartment including spacious living and dining areas, work areas and fully equipped kitchens.
Are the rates charged per apartment or per person?
Rates are charged per apartment and vary according to single/double and triple occupancy. Very attractive long-stay rates are available.
Does my reservation require a guarantee?
All reservations require a credit card guarantee.
How do I cancel my hotel reservation without a charge?
To cancel your booking without incurring charges, contact the Reservations Department at least one day prior to your arrival. You will be given a cancellation reference number. Please note that you must be booked on a ’Flexible’ rate type as ’Advance Pre-Paid’ rates are non-refundable.
How many people can stay in one apartment?
Each apartment can accommodate a maximum of three people. The third bed is normally a rollaway type and charged at the prevailing cost. Extra beds for children under 11 years old are provided free of charge and breakfast is half the adult price.
Are pets allowed?
We regret that animals of any kind are not permitted.
Does the internet rate include breakfast?
This depends on seasonal offers and promotions. For details of rates applicable to a particular period, please visit www.amari.com.
How much do you charge for a late check-out?
It is possible to have a late check out and charges apply.
Do you offer rate for short stays/day use?
Currently this option is not available.
Do you have twin, triple and quadruple apartments?
We have one twin apartment. Triple and quads are not available.
What television channels are available in the apartments?
These are as follows although they are subject to change:
HBO, BBC, CNN, Bloomberg, ABC Asia Pacific, CCTV 4, TV5, DW, RAI, NHK, TVE, Discovery, Star Movies, MTV, ESPN, Star Sports, Arabian Channel, AL Jazeera News Channel, 5 Thai public channels
Do you have non-smoking apartments?
Non-smoking apartments are available upon request.
Are safety deposit boxes available?
All apartments have a safe deposit box provided free of charge.
Is e-mail available?
The building is fully covered for wireless broadband internet access, available in every apartment and in all public areas.
TRAVELLING WITH CHILDREN
Is a babysitting service available?
Yes, a babysitting service is available. Please contact at Front Desk to arrange this in advance
What facilities are available for children?
There is a garden on the 10th floor.
Are baby cots available for the apartments?
Baby cots are available on request.
Are “high chairs” available in the restaurants?
Yes, they are.
DINING
Where is breakfast served and at what times?
Breakfast is served in the Moustache Cafe between 6:30am and 10:30am.
How many restaurants do you have and what are they?
We only have the Moustache Cafe all day dining venue.
Is vegetarian cuisine available in the restaurants?
A selection of vegetarian, dietary and diabetic diet dishes is available.
Do you have 24-hour food and beverage apartment service?
No, room service is served from 6:30 - 22:30 hrs.
GENERAL HOTEL INFORMATION
Is there a swimming pool?
The swimming pool is on the 10th floor.
How much parking space is available?
The parking can accommodate up to 28 cars.
Do you have hairdryers in the apartments?
Hairdryers are available in every guest apartment
How long does it take to get a taxi or limousine from the airport to the residences and approximately how much does it cost?
Depending on the time of day it takes approximately 40 minutes from the airport to the Residences, by highway. The cost ranges from roughly Baht 350 for a public meter taxi and Baht 1,800 net for a hotel limousine.
If I book an Amari limousine from the airport, will I be met by a member of Amari staff?
We have staff on duty at the airport to greet our guests and to escort them safely to the limousine.
Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?
Sightseeing tours are available via the Front Desk. Private driver-guide tours can also be arranged at our limousine counter.
Do you have special facilities and services available for the disabled traveler?
Yes, we have specially equipped apartments for disabled travelers, available on request at no additional charge, and subject to availability. A foldable wheelchair is also available on request.
Can you reconfirm my ongoing flight and make arrangements for domestic and international flights?
Yes, please contact the Front Desk for flight arrangements.
Is a doctor available?
Yes, we have a doctor on call 24 hours. A major international hospital is just one minute away.
Can I get a massage at the residences?
No, but we have a nearby service.
How far is the nearest hospital?
It is 10 minutes to Bumrungrad International Hospital.
Where is the nearest bank or currency exchange?
A currency exchange facility is available at Ploenchit Centre. There are several ATM cash machines within walking distance.
Are there shops at the residences?
We have a mini-mart on the 2nd floor of building A.
Can baggage be stored whilst I travel to another location in Thailand?
Certainly. Please contact the Concierge to arrange this.
Are special services available for female travelers?
There are no special services available for female travelers.
What beauty facilities are available?
None.
What voltage do you use in Thailand?
The voltage in Thailand is 220 V.
What is the VAT refund system in Thailand?
Tourists are able to claim back the VAT on larger purchases when they exit the country. Most department stores display a sign to this effect and will provide the necessary forms for completion.
Is it safe to drink tap water in Thailand?
It is not recommended to drink tap water. Complimentary drinking water is provided in all our apartments
What is the weather like at different times of the year?
As a general guideline, the weather in Thailand is warm all year round. However, the weather is generally most pleasant from November to February when there are clear skies and sunshine. The “hot season” is from April and May, when temperatures reach their highest. The “rainy season” is between June and September although it does not rain every day and usually the rain only lasts for an hour or so in the evening.
What should I wear in Thailand?
The dress code in Thailand is conservative and you should avoid wearing scanty or revealing garments, especially in the city. Shorts and sleeveless vests cannot be worn to visit a temple.
Are there any golf courses near the residences?
The closest is Thana City Golf Course on Bangna Trad Rd KM. 14. (Full range), which is 90 minutes away. We can arrange a golf tour for you, including tee-off time, caddy and equipment plus transportation to the golf course. Please contact the Concierge for details.
BUSINESS TRAVELLERS
Can I connect my laptop in the apartment?
Yes, all apartments have wireless access
What newspapers does the residences feature, and can these be delivered to my apartment?
We have newspapers in the lobby only.
Are secretarial and other business services such as translation available?
Yes, we can provide standard secretarial support services. For specialized needs however, it may be necessary to employ an outside company. Please contact the Front desk to discuss your exact requirements.
Are offices available for rent?
Not at this time.
SHOPPING AND TOURIST FACILITIES
Are there any major shopping centers near the residences? And, if so, where are they?
Shopping facilities include, Ploenchit Centre, which is 5 minutes away. Siam Paragon, Central World, Emporium Department store, and Pratunam Market are all 5-15 minutes away by local taxi.
How close is the MRT Subway or BTS Skytrain?
We are 5 minutes away from BTS Ploenchit station. MRT Sukhumvit is a 10 minute taxi ride away.
Are you close to theatres/entertainment venues?
Yes, there are entertainment centres within 5 minutes away by taxi or tuk tuk.
