Bangkok, 17 October 2013 – ONYX Hospitality Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Kittisak Kijvaratorn as General Manager of the soon to launch, Amari Buriram United.
Kittisak’s career with Amari began in 1998 as Restaurant Manager of Amari Watergate Bangkok, before being appointed Executive Assistant Manager of Amari Don Muang Airport Bangkok in 2005. In his new position, Kittisak will be responsible for the opening of the group’s first Amari property in Buriram, Amari Buriram United. Throughout his 15 years tenure with the Amari brand, he has proved a valuable addition; driving revenue and sales.

Amari Buriram United is a tribute to football and of course the local team, Buriram United. The hotel structure has a stadium design with most rooms looking into a central area which includes a mini football field and swimming pool. Amari Buriram will feature 44 superior rooms, 14 deluxe rooms and 2 suites ranging from 34 to 114 square metres in size. The property will also offer a bar and a gymnasium. The property is scheduled to open by the end of 2013.
