Amari Appoints Christoph Leonhard as General Manager of Amari Palm Reef Koh Samui
Amari, the hotel and resort group celebrating the colours and rhythms of modern Asia, recently announced the appointment of Christoph Leonhard as General Manager of Amari Palm Reef Koh Samui.
Mr Leonhard, a German national, brings to this role a wealth of experience in hospitality with over 15 years in international hotel companies. He started his hospitality career at The St. Regis Hotel in New York and worked in the USA for 3 years before moving to Thailand.
In 2000, he joined Amari Watergate Bangkok as Executive Assistant Manager, responsible for the leadership and management of the rooms division of the landmark property. He then worked for The Peninsula and Sofitel hotel in Bangkok.
In his new role, Mr Leonhard oversees the smooth running of Amari Palm Reef Koh Samui, the 187-room resort located on Chaweng Beach, recently named TTG Asia’s Best Beach Resort 2009.
