Amari Hotels and Resorts appoints new General Manager for Amari Palm Reef Resort, Samui 2/15/2009 7:22:00 AM

 

Mr Peter Henley, President & CEO of Amari Hotels and Resorts, has announced the appointment of Mr Roland Henkel, as General Manager of Amari Palm Reef Resort, Samui.

Mr Henkel, a German national and graduate of International Hospitality Management in Switzerland, brings a wealth of experience to the resort. Before joining Amari, he held managerial positions in international hotels and resorts, including the USA, Germany, Egypt and the West Indies.

In early 2006, he joined Amari Hotels and Resorts as Executive Assistant Manager Rooms Division at the 5-star Amari Watergate Hotel, Bangkok.

Mr Henkel now oversees the smooth running of the very popular Amari Palm Reef Resort, Samui.
