This October, Amari Palm Reef is to sponsor and host the first night and the grand finale main stage evenings of the eagerly anticipated Samui International Jazz Music Festival.
For the third consecutive year, forty exceptional Thai and international artists from ten different nations will land on the paradise island of Koh Samui and perform at stunning beach-side locations, including Amari Palm Reef. Among those performing will be Chicago born, Paulette McWilliams, who’s impressive sound has seen her share the stage with the likes of Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. Peter Beets, a world renowned jazz pianist from the Netherlands, who has performed with jazz legends including Chick Corea, Wynton Marsalis and Dee Dee Bridgewater, is also guaranteed to wow the crowd with his unique sounds.
This year’s Samui International Jazz Music Festival takes place 14-20 October. Friends will come together to make Amari the base to enjoy a tropical evening filled with soulful tunes. The following events are due to take place at Amari Palm Reef during the festival:
Sunday 14th October Opening Night. Enjoy an exclusive preview concert with the Beets Brothers feat. Paulette
McWilliams, interviews, and an opportunity to meet the artists in person, followed by the
concert of Tropic Green, feat. Susan Harmer, a truly international jazz ensemble with
members from Cuba, USA, Singapore and Japan. (7pm-11pm)

Entrance to festival events during the week will be 500 THB and free performances will be held in front of the Amari Palm Reef Resort on Chaweng beach on the 19th and 20th October. All proceeds of the event will be donated to the Green Island Foundation, promoting eco-tourism and sustainability on Koh Samui.
