Location
Koh Chang is one of Thailand’s hidden secrets that has become much easier to visit. 345km south east of Bangkok, what was once only accessible by a 5-hour drive from Bangkok is now only an hour's flight from Bangkok, thanks to the airport in Trat province.

General Information
Sightseeing:
Koh Chang is a perfect hideaway for nature lovers. The largest in a group of 52 islands belonging to the Koh Chang National Marine Park, it is acclaimed for its pristine rainforests and stunning marine life. Lush, green and mountainous, the island has a multitude of natural treasures, which visitors can explore.
Apart from taking advantage of the soft white sandy beaches, more adventurous guests can enjoy hiking in the rainforests, elephant trekking, fishing, sailing, snorkelling and diving. Day trips to the surrounding islands can easily be arranged and there are two multi-level waterfalls with refreshing pools to swim in.
A traditional fishing village, Bang Bao, is a fascinating place to get an insight into the island’s fishing community. Raised high above the water on wooden stilts, it is not only charming, but also a great place to enjoy freshly caught seafood.
