flight from Bangkok, thanks to the airport in Trat province. The Amari
Emerald Cove Koh Chang is located on the secluded Klong Prao Beach
with kilometres of white sand.

General information
Sightseeing:
Koh Chang is a perfect hideaway for nature lovers. The largest in a group of 52 islands belonging to the Koh Chang National Marine Park, it is acclaimed
for its pristine rainforests and stunning marine life. Lush, green and mountainous, the island has a multitude of natural treasures, which visitors can
explore including tropical forests and the mangrove bay of Salak Khok.
Apart from taking advantage of the soft white sand beaches, more adventurous guests can enjoy hiking in the rainforests, exploring the four different
elephant trekking camps, fishing, sailing, snorkelling and diving. Day trips to the surrounding islands can easily be arranged and there are two multi-level
waterfalls with refreshing pools to swim in.
A traditional fishing village, Bang Bao, is a fascinating place to get an insight into the island’s fishing community. Raised high above the water on wooden
stilts, it is not only charming, but also a great place to enjoy freshly caught seafood. The bay of Salak Phet, also located on the eastern coast of the island
and surrounded by the highest point in Koh Chang, is also a highlight.
