On Saturday 28th March 2009, at Earth Hour (8.30-9.30pm wherever you are on the planet), Amari Hotels and Resorts, throughout Thailand, will be part of the action!
All 17 properties in the Amari Hotels and Resorts group, located around Thailand, will switch off all unnecessary lighting to support the fight against global warming and help save the planet. Amari Hotels and Resorts will be encouraging guests to also support this phenomenal world event and believes 'together, we can make a difference!'
Earth Hour is being celebrated in over 900 cities and towns in 80 countries across the globe, all hoping to help make our earth a safer place to live by switching off lights for one hour between 8.30 - 9.30pm, on Saturday 28th March 2009.
